"It's a great unforgettable memory of my parents and my home, and it also includes words and thoughts that would otherwise never have been spoken and would have been lost. Thanks again, it's a great thing”

“Connection is why we're here. We are hardwired to connect with others, it's what gives purpose and meaning to our lives"

The gift of sharing
We foster connections by sharing pieces of ourselves.
In our busy lives, the truly important things often go unsaid, undiscussed.

Share you inner life with your loved ones,
your partner, your (grand)children,
your (grand)parents or your chosen family
and allow them an intimate look into your true self.
Share a piece of yourself and connect.

Tomorrow is not an option
Life goes by and so does the opportunity to capture it.
Milestones in life and how we experience them fade over time.

That overwhelming feeling of love and joy for your newborn
The wisdom of grandparents that was never truly captured
The pre-wedding expectations and vision for your marriage
The toddlers innocent and hilarious view on the world

Tomorrow turns into next week, next month, next year… and before you know it: Life went by in the blink of an eye.
Privacy
A video interview about your inner life and private thoughts is a very intimate thing. The more an interviewee opens up, the more authentic and personal the documentary will be. All discussions and (video) material will be treated with the utmost respect & discretion. No parts will be made public, unless with your express written permission. See also GDPR guidelines.

The more comfort and peace of mind I can give you, the more beautiful and meaningful
documentary we can create. And that is my ultimate source of fulfillment.
Let me introduce myself …

My name is Abel Ruiz Vazquez. I am an award-winning movie maker who studied audio-visual media & art in Germany, Hungary and Belgium.

I was born and grew up in Germany from Spanish parents and have been living in Belgium for over 10 years. As a young father I see my kids growing up so fast and at the same time I see my grandparents aging and passing away. It is not always easy to slow down and take time for connection, take time to have meaningful conversations. We make pictures and videos with our smartphones on a daily basis, but what about capturing the layer below? Our inner lives and those of our loved ones?

What if I could show my 5 year old when he is older or has kids of his own, what he was like as a young child? What if I could show him what kind of people my grandparents were, in their own words? I believe that there is a no more intimate way of remembering and experiencing someone than through a thoughtful video interview: an inner life verbalised by the person themselves.
